Town of Lone Oak,
Georgia
Mayor Brian Ferrell - I have lived in Lone Oak most of my life, I have grown up with all of the people here in the community. I have always been there to help someone who needs help. I am a volunteer fireman and EMT, have been for 20 plus years for Lone Oak. I have also been in politics with Lone Oak for about 18-20 years off and on, two or three times as the Mayor. I am available to the community when you have a concern or problem, I will be there to help fix the problem.

Mayor Pro-Tem Kody Forbus - Lone Oak was always a second home to me growing up. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of playing in the courtyard of the Community center while attending Allen-Lee's homecoming's. Ever since I was born, all of my Thanksgiving's, Christmas', and Easter memories' have included Lone Oak. I feel beyond blessed to now call Lone Oak my first home; my husband and I moved here in 2010. We have, since then, had and raised our three precious daughters here, which has given Lone Oak an even bigger spot in my heart. I am a former teacher who is now a stay-at-home mom, and I am loving every minute of it! I have a strong desire to provide my children with the same sweet memories of Lone Oak that I have. Serving on our city council has been the perfect opportunity for me to get involved, I have taken the required courses needed for the council from the University of Georgia and I also want help my children find a place in the community. I am a great Listener, and I would love to hear your ideas about how we can make our charming little city the best it can be!
